Jessica Simpson’s “No Makeup” Look On The Cover of Marie Claire
In Jessica Simpson’s new show, The Price of Beauty, she and two friends travel around the world to investigate what people in other cultures consider “beautiful.” Jessica, being a huge media target, has experienced tons of criticism based on her looks, and is working towards empowering young women to see the beauty within themselves. In this month’s Marie Claire magazine, Jessica graces the cover “without makeup and retouching” in order to prove that it’s ok not to live up to our impossible standard of beauty.

To Take Her Makeup Off!!!
Obviously, Jessica is wearing much less than she normally does, but it’s still there! And more than just a little bit. I see mascara, liner, and blush and I would bet money that there is at least concealer on her skin.
This reminds me of the millions of times I’ve been on set and a model or actress sits in my chair and tells me they have no makeup on, but when I start wiping away at their skin “to remove anything they must’ve missed,” my wipe is covered in product! lol!
Nevertheless, she is still uber brave and I hope her new efforts begin to change the way some people think.

Jessica, Without Makeup. For Real.
