Lady Gaga
The Scoop: Lady Gaga’s Nail Polish on Vanity Fair
I have had a ton of emails asking what color nail polish Lady Gaga is wearing on the cover of Vanity Fair’s September issue of Vogue, so for everyone wondering..
Lady Gaga is wearing Deborah Lippmann’s “Waking up in Vegas” nail polish.
Deborah Lippmann herself actually did the manicure for the pop star!! Waking up in Vegas is described as a “puttylicious grey.” Just when you though greige was out..

Lady Gaga on the Cover of Vanity Fair’s September Issue
I LOVE Lady Gaga on the cover of UK’s September 2010 issue of Vanity Fair! The silvery grey tone of the entire cover looks amazing, from her hair, to her fingernails. Perfection!
Makeup was done by Val Garland, who seems to be working with the pop star a lot these days.. Garland also did Gaga’s Alejandro music video.

Lady Gaga at the Grammys
The Transformation of Gaga at the Grammys
Makeup Artist genius, Billy B, was the mastermind behind Lady Gaga’s four different looks last night at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. She was killing it all night long! Check out her transformation as the night went on..
Look One: Red Carpet

Gaga’s red carpet look was a dark greenish gold smokey eye. Her bold, flawlessly filled in eyebrows shaped her face and her skin looked amazing. Gaga’s lipstick is Viva Glam Gaga, from her new MAC Campaign with Cyndi Lauper, “From Our Lips.”
.
Look Two: Performance

Gaga opened the Grammy’s by singing a duet with Elton John! She wore two upside-down pink rhinestone triangles around her eyes, and the same pink lipstick as her red carpet look. It doesn’t look like rinestones were attached to her skin individually, but rather the entire shape was fixated around her eyes. During the performance, she disappears and re-appears with covered in soot, sans triangles.
.
Look Three: Audience
Lady Gaga’s 3rd look is very similar to the one she wore while performing. The pink triangles are back around her eyes, but this time without eyebrows or rhinestones! These triangles definitely look painted on. Her eyes are rimmed with jet black liner and her lips are a darker, hot pink.
.
Look Four: Press Room
Gaga’s final look of the night was a simple, yet dramatic, black smokey eye and nude lip.

The Scoop:
Bad Romance Nail Polish!
Chances are, you’re one of the 86 million people that has seen the Bad Romance music video. If you haven’t, there’ s something wrong..
Celebrity manicurist, Kimmie Kyees collaborated with Lady Gaga to create her nail looks for the video. Now you can wear a little bit of Gaga in your everyday life, without even having to go over the top!

The white nails seen in most of the video are OPI’s Alpine Snow Matte polish.

I have been trying to figure out how they created this wire overlay on Gaga’s nails since I first saw the video (about 50 times ago). Kimmie says that the black polish is China Glaze’s Liquid Leather and the screen is actually cut up mesh fabric from Joanne’s fabric store!! Brilliant.
Lady Gaga for Hello Kitty
Lady Gaga’s Painted Eyes
Lady Gaga recently did a photoshoot for Sanario’s 35th Anniversary. Check out her Hello Kitty inspired, painted eyes! I’m also loving her barely-there pink streaks, and teal lips (last photo). She pushes alllll the right boundries when it comes to beauty and fashion.
SO HOT!

Lady Gaga’s New Video
Incredible Makeup, Hair and Styling!!!
So it’s no surprise that I’m kind of obsessed with Lady Gaga. I love when celebrities push the envelope and don’t care about what the “Fashion Police” say. She takes risks with beauty and fashion, and the image she has created for herself is amazing. The industry is obviously taking notice, as she has been signed on to MAC’s Viva Glam Campaign and Alexander McQueen debuted her new single at his fashion show in Paris!!
Lady Gaga’s new Bad Romance video was released today on YouTube. Watching it nearly killed me!! lol. I feel like the 2nd half of the video is better so if you don’t want to watch the whole thing skip to about 2:30.
The styling and concept is brilliant and she wears Alexander McQueen’s shoes from his Spring/Summer 2010 collection in several of the scenes!! (Check out my post about McQueen’s Show HERE).
The amazing Billy B did her makeup.

This is a great Lady Gaga inspired tutorial. It’s SUPER easy to do and the techniques can be used for all different kinds of costumes. This particular look is inspired by Gaga’s VMA makeup, if you are interested in her PokerFace makeup, check out my tutorial HERE.
I LOVE this masquerade mask tutorial. It’s also pretty simple to achieve and will give you that WOW factor tonight, whether you’re trick or treating or going out to party.
This tutorial is so creative! It’s great for guys who don’t want to dress up, but still can get into the Halloween spirit. It can also work for a lot of scary costumes, as it is not character specific.
I like this tutorial because it’s so unique! It’s proof that makeup really does make the costume!
This makeup can be used for all different kinds of costumes. He says that he used it as Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, but can also be great for Wicked’s Elfaba.
