Who Does Megan Fox’s Eyebrows?
Update: This post may seem familiar to you, and that’s because I wrote it almost a year ago! I have since discovered who Megan Fox has regularly been getting her eyebrows shaped by and am excited to share all the details!
Megan Fox’s Eyebrow Artist Revealed
Megan Fox has my favorite celebrity eyebrows by far! They are perfectly arched, flawlessly groomed and full, not over plucked. I get a ton of emails asking me if I know who is behind Megan’s perfect brows. Today, I spoke with her publicist, and I’m happy to share with you the artist who’s been shaping up Megan’s eyebrows for the past seven years:
Tonya Crooks
Tonya is a celebrity brow artist who’s clients not only include Megan Fox, but Fergie, Molly Sims, Britney Spears, Eva Mendez (my 2nd favorite brows!), and Gwenyth Paltrow among others.
Get the Look!
To achieve Megan’s brow look, Tonya trims and tweezes them into shape. She “doesn’t use wax as much with Megan as she does with other clients, as her skin is quite sensitive.” Tonya also shares:
“Brows come in two basic shapes — an arc or an arch. Megan has a perfect arch. It’s what she was born with and it works perfectly for her face, as it’s her natural shape and brings a lot of drama to her face, since arches are more dramatic than arcs. Also, as Megan’s brow hairs are dark and her skin is light, there is a great high-low contrast that really gives her a strong look.
If someone wants a similar look they should keep in mind that Megan has a natural arch, but if you have a natural arc, you should go with that. You want to go with what is the most natural, appropriate look for your face. Make sure you keep the hairs long enough, and don’t remove too many hairs from either the front or the tail, as these can often dictate the shape of your brow. Make sure your arch is in the right place, and your brows are thick and clean. Megan often fills in sparse spots with a powder or pencil and always makes sure they’re brushed and kempt.”

Red Carpet Makeup: Teen Choice Awards 2010
The Teen Choice Awards were filmed yesterday and the blue carpet was smokin’ with some hot (and some not so hot) looks! Check out my favorites of the night and be sure to tune in tonight (Aug 9) to watch the show!!
Khloe Kardashian looked amazing yesterday! My favorite look out of all the Kardashian sisters. Her makeup is gorgeous.
Selena Gomez always looks great on the red carpet! Yesterday was no exception; I loved her whole look, from her dress, to her hair and makeup.
I’m a sucker for clean, simple and pretty makeup like Ashley Greene’s!
Katarina Grahm had jewels glued to her eyelid which kinda killed her whole look for me. I just really love her neon pink lipstick.

Natalie Portman: The New Face of Dior
I can’t believe that Natalie Portman has not been the face of any cosmetic line or fragrance before! She’s gorgeous!! Well, that’s all about to change, as she has just signed a deal with Parfums Christian Dior. She will join the ranks of Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone and Jude Law who also work with the brand, promoting different fragrances.
Claude Martinez, the chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior says:
“We are extremely excited to have Miss Portman embody our house. She will symbolise with grace the values of luxury and the glamour of Dior.”
Natalie is a great fit for the company, she’s stunning and very classy. Love her! Can’t wait to see her Ads!!
Katy Perry at the MTV Movie Awards
Everyone was looking at Katy Perry last night during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards! Her bright blue wig had everyone talking but I was looking at her makeup!! Her skin looks flawless and the whole look is very clean and classy. I love how it balances out the crazy wig.
Makeup Artist Jake Bailey Created Katy’s Look for the Night.
She changed up her look during the show adding Barbie pink lipstick and an extra blue line on her upper eyelid.
I love her bright yellow nails!!

Taylor Swift needs to try a different red carpet look pretty soon… I feel like we’ve seen her wear blood red lips and winged liner one too many times. Fortunately for her, it looks incredible… but how could it not? Makeup artist extraordinaire, Pat McGrath created the look!

I’m still not sure if I’m feeling her new single, “Not Myself Tonight,” but she looks good so I’m not too worried about it.

2010 Oscars: Red Carpet Makeup
Best Makeup Looks From the 2010 Academy Awards
I am usually not a huge fan of Vera Farmiga’s makeup on past red carpets. Usually, she wears a dark eye and a nude lip, but this look is sooo much prettier on her!! I love the bright fuchsia lip (even though I wish it were not the exact same shade as her dress), rosy cheeks and light eye makeup. She may not have won the Oscar but she looked fabulous anyway!

Mo’Nique’s red carpet makeup was all about the contouring! She looked exquisite last night, and her sculpted brows and soft smokey eyes are to die for. Mo’Nique’s makeup artist, Derrick Rutledge, gave her a winning face that complimented her golden statue nicely ;)!

LOVE Zoe Saldana’s makeup last night!! Unfortunately, the still photos were not able to capture just how gorgeous she actually looked, but you get the idea. She was glowing. Want to re-create her nude, glossy lip? Zoe’s makeup artist, Vera Steimberg, used Smashbox’s Ophelia lip gloss!

Rachel McAdams looked gorgeous on the red carpet! Her makeup was a lot more subdued than other stars, but she looked stunning! Rachel’s sister Kayleen McAdams was her makeup artist for yesterday’s event. She used rose-golds and greys on her eyes, and Chanel’s Rouge Coco Lipstick in Rose Comete on her lips, with a little bit of Chanel’s Glossimer lip gloss in Futile dabbed on top for added shine.

Ok, first of all, why was Miley Cyrus at the Oscars???
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, as much as I hate to admit it, Miley looked amazing last night!! While I wasn’t too impressed with the hair, her makeup was my favorite of the night. She looked so sophisticated and pretty.

While smokey eyes are usually the go-to makeup look for award shows, the 82nd Annual Academy Awards were all about the lips! Berries and reds were popping up all over the smiles of the major stars!

Trend Alert: Double Winged Eyeliner
Two is Better than One… This Season
Just when you’ve finally mastered winged liner, the fashion world throws a curve-ball your way! Double eyeliner is the new “in” thing, and celebrities are picking up on the trend… quickly.
In two of Christian Dior’s recent runway shows, double liner has been applied.
Kim Kardashian has worn the double liner twice in recent months! Her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, glammed her up for her birthday celebration in Vegas (where more is more ) and yesterday for her Sephora appearance to promote her new fragrance.
Marc Jacob’s most recent runway show in New York displayed an extreme version of the trend.
Mischa Barton attended Gucci Icon- Temporary Flash Sneaker store launch late last year. She was sporting greyish blue liner with two wings extended out pretty far past her eyes.
